Discovering Berdut’s patented Parallel Energy…
Challenging the Laws of Physics
Inventor and multiple patent-holder Elberto Berdut’s innovative “Parallel Energy” technology was discovered and developed by Berdut in his Magnetic Force company laboratories after years of research and with the cooperation of two University of Puerto Rico professors: Dr. David Serrano and Dr. Orlando Ruiz. After repeatedly validating and confirming the surprising results of their research and the importance of their technology’s efficiency, Berdut has decided to create a new organization with the personnel able to fully develop the technology, maximize its applications and positively impact our planet for the benefit of the world’s neediest… smashing the conventional wisdoms and worldwide economic interests that have shackled our society for the past 100 years to the burning of fossil fuels and damaging our fragile environment. He shares some of his motivations and thoughts below.
Over this period, populations have exploded and cities have grown uncontrollably, creating ever-increasing demand for more energy, more housing, more food, more transportation and expectations for an ever-higher quality of life. Our leaders have given us an unsustainable “inverted pyramid” model of development, but the planet’s natural resources are disappearing and must ultimately bring chaos and conflict. We need to adopt the more stable normal pyramid to which nature, in its obvious wisdom, points us.
We are now more aware than ever that our planet is in a constant state of evolution, where nothing is permanent… what is stone today will be sand tomorrow… and vice versa. The same is true for our planet’s species, of which humans are one. How many have disappeared as a result of the planet’s constant evolution and cosmic events? If humans wish to become the exception… a permanent species on our planet and perhaps even others… the only alternative is for us to discover and develop new, scalable, non-polluting energy technologies to support our agriculture, desalinate the oceans’ waters and make the deserts bloom.
Our patented “Parallel Energy” technology opens a new door onto this imperative new road we must follow; its multiple applications can guarantee our species not only a higher quality of life for all, but even the permanence to which we aspire.

Elberto Berdut Teruel
A successful entrepreneur and businessman, Elberto Berdut Teruel is a self-taught scientist, engineer and inventor as well, holder of more than 20 US and international patents. Born in Cuba, and without the benefit of higher education, he began his working life as a cabinetmaker’s apprentice, fleeing Cuba in 1962 and arriving in the US Territory of Puerto Rico at the age of 23 to open his own woodworking shop in San Juan. Through a series of savvy investments over the following decades, he was able to go from cabinetmaker to real estate magnate, something which allowed him to finally retire and pursue his many “Why nots?”
He identifies with noted author Thomas Friedman’s call for “…10,000 inventors working in 10,000 companies and 10,000 garages and 10,000 laboratories to drive transformational breakthroughs” and considers himself one of those 10,000 garage inventors. The venerable Caribbean Business weekly dubbed Berdut “Puerto Rico’s Magnetic Wizard” in an eight-page Special Report in 2010.
The untapped power of magnetic attraction and repulsion:
Being able to harness the inherent energy of magnets for the benefit of humankind has been a work in progress for Berdut since 1990. “I started to work in the area of magnetic energy more than 25 years ago to develop a high-velocity train, and subsequently was awarded various patents for a system that uses concentrated magnetic energy.
An opportunity offered by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to develop the first prototype model (a $40 million project) of a high-speed maglev train was ultimately awarded to Old Dominion University, but their project was eventually abandoned due to its spiraling costs. Despite not being chosen, or perhaps because of it, Berdut continued his quest to change the world. “I’ve dedicated my time and considerable personal resources to finding a way to create both medical applications and cheaper energy to provide more stability to human life, because we cannot continue to depend on therapies and fuels that aren’t sustainable over time. He has successfully developed bio-magnetic devices for the non-invasive and drug-free treatment of various illnesses, bringing relief to thousands around the world. He is currently promoting the licensing of his patented “Parallel Energy” heater which seems to defy the “laws” of physics by using rare-earth magnets to produce substantially more heat than it consumes.
The potential of magnetic energy is so truly unlimited, that if we are able to harness it, we could invest our wealth in pursuing the elimination of debilitating diseases and poverty… and saving our environment before it’s too late,” Berdut insists. “Why not?”
